A Snowy Nita Lake Elopement
When Jenna and I first chatted, she mentioned that her hubby-to-be had never seen falling snow, so she was hoping that in March, there would be at least some snow.
Planning a trip from Australia for her 40th birthday, these lovebirds, who had been engaged for 20 years, decided to also tie the knot as part of their Canadian West Coast Adventure.

Why did you plan the type of wedding day you did? We wanted something simple and intimate
How did you pick your venue/location? I had been to Nita Lodge a few times, it’s such a unique hotel and one of my favourites
What was your favourite thing about your wedding venue/location and why? The snow and the beautiful scenery
Tell me about your celebratory meal. The 4 of us had dinner at “The Den” at Nita, it was amazing food, the kids had mocktails while Ben and I enjoyed a bottle of champagne
Were there any vendors you were especially excited to work with? You, your husband and Myrna, our celebrant, were perfect
Did any vendors surprise you/go the extra mile? You all made our day so special and memorable
How did you feel on the morning of your wedding day? Excited and relaxed! We had lots of snow and a beautiful breakfast! Ben had a massage at the spa, and Tyla enjoyed doing my hair and makeup! It was very relaxed.
What was your favourite moment of the day? The snowball fight
What was your most memorable moment of the day? The ceremony
