5 Things Not To Forget On Your Wedding Day
Whether you’re having a just-us experience or a small wedding with your closest family + friends, there are a few key things you don’t want to forget on your wedding day.
1. Your Marriage License
This might seem obvious, but in the whirlwind of excitement, it’s shockingly easy to overlook. Pack it in your bag the day before, or if you’re having guests join you, give it to a trusted friend to keep safe.
2. Your Vows
Whether you’ve written heartfelt letters or plan to wing it, have a backup copy. Nerves can make even the most confident person blank out! Store them in your phone notes app and maybe print a copy—just in case.

3. Sunglasses
An obvi accessory in the summer, but especially during shoulder seasons, the weather can change quickly and the sun can make a sudden appearance. Being prepared will make sure that you aren’t squinting in photos.
4. Sunscreen
The sun in the mountains just feels more intense. And nothing ruins post-wedding bliss like a lobster-red nose. Sunscreen is a must on hot summer wedding days. Pro Tip: Pack a travel-sized bottle for touch-ups throughout your day.
5. Comfy Shoes
Heels or hiking boots. Both can leave your feet hurting after a few hours. Bring some flats, sneakers or flip flops to change into so that you can feel comfy all day long!
BONUS: YOUR PHOTO POLICY
Want to take photos at your getting-ready location or a special location? Double-check if there are any photography-related waivers/policies needed so that you can enjoy relaxed, stress-free photos.
