Accept it. We all have fears. Some we can overcome, some we can't. Horror movies. Spiders. Eels. These are things I have learned to accept that I am, and will always be, afraid of. There's no rhyme or reason. It's just the way it is.
Street photography however, is a fear that I am trying to overcome. I find the art of street photography amazing, yet the actual doing is incredibly intimidating. I'm definitely not one of those people who can just go out and shoot everything and everyone in sight without permission. But I'm slowly learning to find the courage.
Whether I ask permission first, or forgiveness later, I'm still undecided. But what I have learned is that perhaps a new camera is in my future. One more conducive to street photography rather that my big DSLR!
Or maybe I just borrow Dennis' X10.
