Mel and Mike's wedding was, I have to admit, pretty epic! Held at the gorgeous Seclusion Bay in West Kelowna, I was a little worried because the weather was changing all week, at one point calling for thunderstorms on the day of the wedding. But low and behold, their big day came around and it was sunny and dry! Well, aside from a 20 min wind storm that, had the commissioner not had the foresight to hold down the paper work with a heavy rock before the wedding, the best man was gonna go for a swim in the lake.
Their wedding party knows what it means to have a good time, as evident by the partying to the wee hours of the morning the 2 days before wedding. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit jelly of their skills. Everyone was so incredibly welcoming making Dennis and I feel like one of the crew immediately.
Mel was walked down the aisle with her dad and Tito Boi who had the honour of standing in for her mom. After the crazy windstorm that started half way through the ceremony, the weather calmed down and was just beautiful for the rest of the ceremony. The dance party went on well into the night, everyone kept warm with bevvies aflowing and the melodic tunes by their friend Dave.
