This has been a long over due post. In fact, an embarrassing long over due post. Thankfully Gina is close friend and allows me such graces. Gina and Tyler have been together for the better part of 9 years, and I've been lucky enough to know them both for about 8.5 of those years. Last December, their beautiful wedding set in Puerto Vallarta, marked the end of a year long engagement that had started on Christmas day, 2010, when Tyler proposed amidst 12 bottles of champagne (think 12 Days of Christmas).
By February, Gina had already bought her wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, organized an engagement party and had decided where she was getting married. She got it done.
When invited me to the wedding I was excited. When she asked me if I would photograph her wedding I was incredibly honoured to be asked and super stoked to capture their special day. It was an amazing vacation with lots of laughs and lots of love. One of my fondest memories was when Papa Chae (father of the bride) came up to me during the reception, shaking a stern finger, telling me "no more photos, time for fun"!
Gina and Tyler - love you both and here's to many happy years ahead of you!
